Anything Goes Friday #1-2016

Today's challenge is to pick one of these techniques and create a card:

Not sure how to do one of the techniques, check out the links to the videos provided above.

Now one with the cards. Up first is Anna with the emboss resist technique.

I picked the "Emboss Resist" technique (well I tried anyway LOL).

The stamp is from Stampendous and I picked it up for 66% off so it was only $3.99! I love vintage things and I embossed it with white shimmer embossing powder and then used Ranger inks to do the coloring.  I added the  pops of color with more cutouts from the Cricut Suburbia cartridge.   ~Anna

Anna, I think you did a marvelous job with your emboss resist!

Theresa is next with two more emboss resist cards.

These are just two of the emboss resist cards that were featured on my blog hop on Saturday on my personal blog.  There's still time to check it out and comment to win a Blitsy.com gift certificate and an embossing package of 3 WOW embossing powders and a Versa Mark Ink pad.
Hope over to my personal blog and check out the hop, CLICK HERE.

The two cards above use WOW clear embossing powder and Ranger Distress Inks.  The bird card always uses Copic markers to color in the birds and branch.  The floral card also uses a bit of Heidi Swapp Glimmer Mist spritzed on at the end.

Give one of these techniques a try.  Try one you've not done before or try products that you've not
combined with a particular technique before. Use your Stampin' Up or other inks instead of distress inks or use a stencil instead of a stamp with your embossing ink to get a different look.

Happy Crafting

  2. As a new fan of the emboss resist, I'm enjoying seeing all the different ways they can be used.
