January's Sketch Challenge: |
Today's sketch comes from http://www.theunitystampco-challenge.blogspot.com/ |
Today we've got another card for you by Amy.
I love to
use patriotic colors so when I saw the sketch for this card I immediately
pulled out my patriotic cardstocks and Designer Patterned Papers. I still
wanted to keep the design Clean and Simple and true to the sketch so I used
very little of the DP. The DP come from Authentique: Freedom 6x6 paper pad, I
added In The Navy and Luxury White Cardstock by Gina K Designs to complete the
design. The sentiment comes from MFT- For the Boys and I used the silver brads
I picked up at Michaels Craft Store. ~Amy
Up next today is Denise.
This is actually I card that I made a couple of years ago for a great-nephew who had broken his arm. The dinosaur was cut on my Cricut Expression using the cartridge Dinosaur Tracks. I wrapped the arm with some cream ribbon to make it look like a cast. ~Denise
Our last new DT member will be introduced tomorrow.
Happy Crafting

I always love to see how different interpretations of a sketch can be. These are both lovely. Amy, that vertical banding on either side of the front panel really sets your patterned paper off beautifully. Denise, I know that's not a dinosaur, LOL, but that patterned paper is really pretty..I love how you combined the patterns!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Theresa must have mixed up the descriptions, since this is not the dinosaur card. Lol.
DeleteNice job Amy, I love Authentique papers.
