Today's technique challenge is to use die cuts on your card.
Whether you ink them, layer them, cut them from vinyl or vellum,
cardstock or glitter paper, create a card that uses die cuts as the focal point.
Up first is Anna with this gorgeous, clean and simple wedding card.
I found the card on Cricut, ran it through the embosser using a Darice folder.
I cut out the hearts, added pop dots and used the Explore's writing tool to add
the sentiment. I added little stick on diamonds and a ribbon.
Once I have a bride and groom for the card I will add another tag
with their names on to go below the hearts. ~Anna
And without any prompting Gracie's card uses hearts too.
I love it when great minds think alike.
I decided to go with inlaid die cutting.
I had to cut the heart 3 times to mix up the colors
and I added Wink of Stella to some and crystal effects.
I added a die cut With Love and some left over hearts. ~ Gracie
Get out your diecutting machine, whether its a Cuttlebug, a Cricut and Sillhouette
or maybe just a good old pair of scissors
(do a little fussy cutting and create your own die cuts)
and make a card today.

You both picked hearts! That's perfect because Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we're all looking for ideas for our Valentine!
ReplyDeleteThey are both great. The pop-up of the hearts makes it special while the inlaid one makes a real statement when you see it in real life.
