Technique Tuesday 24-2018

Our technique this month is raised die cuts still using the Kids theme and bright colors.

Here is my card:

I have a granddaughter who is six.  She loves money.  She loves coins as much as bills and was very upset recently as the tooth fairy did not leave her any money because her room was not clean.  Of course, being the grandmother, I told her the tooth fairy left her money here!  So she put her money in her big fat piggy bank.  I thought of her and smiled while making this card.  :)

I started out with Tim Holtz "Childhood" stamp set and stamped my image on SU's Whisper White card stock.  I colored my image with Spectrum Noir markers and made the coins shiny with Wink of Stella.  I cut the sentiment from Little B four times and adhered them together and attached them to the card.  It stands out nicely.  I put the white panel on a coral panel for a little contrast and used a white card stock card base.  ~  Gracie
