Mistletoe Monday 26-2018

Mistletoe Monday with an image that reminds me of a toy from my children's childhood. 

I have been exploring svg files more with my Cricut Explore.  This cute cut was part of the Crafter's Delight bundle from FontBundles.net.  One of the things I noticed in using various svg files vs images from Cricut cartridges is that they are usually just parts without a base to build the parts on.  I made my own base by taking the original image, making a duplicate, and then welding it together.  I cut the base out of white and used scrap paper for the parts.  I did use a suede paper for the deer which gives it a nice texture in person.  I glued it all on a paper from Carta Bella called Snow Fun.  I decided not to put a sentiment on the front. - Denise
