Making box cards is what I have been doing this year for my family birthday cards:

This card was cut on my Cricut Explore using a file from the set called Box Cards by svgcuts.com  I love the files from this site.  Mary has some wonderful box cards and 3-D projects and she has videos showing how to put them together. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye - Summer Splash. I added a written sentiment in Design Space so that it wrote it on the Explore. - Denise
