Wow Wednesday 21-2018

Welcome back. I have another card for you today.

The theme for May is celebrating Mom and the color scheme is pink, gold and white. For WOW Wednesday, the challenge is to turn up the volume on a card.  Here's the original card.

The original card used STAMPlorations Framed Dogwood stamp, gold embossing powder and heat set onto watercolor paper. I added color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. For the sentiment, I die cut using Impression Obsession’s die 166-F Happy Birthday and gold heat embossed with Clearly Besotted’s Happy Days stamp set.

Here's my "turn up the volume card".

To turn up the volume, I added Wink of Stella to the petals of the flowers and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard to the centers of the flowers. I added a few gold strips to the top of the card to add a bit more shine.
