Technique Tuesday 46-2018

Hi! Happy Tuesday! It's Sue and I'm this week's designer here at Card A Day Challenge.

Here's my card for today

The theme for November is “thankfulness” and the color scheme is muted shades and fall colors.  For Technique Tuesday, the challenge is to use this month’s technique which is dimensional sentiments. I started by stamping flower blooms and leaves using Altenew’s Adore You stamp set with Hero Arts Soft Granite ink. I added muted colors with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and fussy cut the images out. The sentiment uses stamps from both Altenew’s Adore You and Hello Sunshine stamp sets. Using my MISTI, I stamped the sentiments onto a white card base. I added the leaves, overlapping slightly one of the leaves over the sentiment and re-stamped the card. Then I added the flower blooms and re-stamped the sentiment. It’s so easy to do with a MISTI. I popped the blooms up with dimensions – hence the “dimensional sentiments”. Here's a close-up.

Thanks for stopping by. Please pop by again tomorrow and I'll have a new card for you.

  1. This is very pretty. I love this technique for making the sentiment such a part of the card.
