Scene it Saturday - 03-2018

Hi! It's the last day of my posting week. The monthly theme is Winter Birthday and today's prompt is "create a scene card".

Here's my card

I used Catherine Pooler's Winterhaven dies with printed paper to give the die cut houses added interest. I also added some Ranger texture paste which I applied to the tops of the houses to make them look snow-covered. I used the "slope" die also from the Winterhaven dies to create the slope from white cardstock. Here's a close-up of a few houses.

For the background (sky), I added distress inks (spun sugar, tumbled glass, shaded lilac) with ink blending tools. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Salutations stamp set.
