Today's sketch has a lot of elements to work with.
Kimberly kept the essence of the sketch in a cleaner version.
I created this fun nautical card with left over items from a
paper kit (Authentique). I changed the
design to fit with the paper and embellishments that I chose to use for the
card. I created a small collage and
adhered the panel to an A2 size card…quick and easy.- Kimberly
I kept most of the elements to create a more complicated card than I normally do.
I had a kit from Teresa Collins called Fabrications. It includes double sided paper along with a lot of embellishments. I purchased these kits when I first started doing scrapbooking and card making, but they had since been put away. I just chose some coordinating paper from the pack and arranged the banners on the bottom to suit me better. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the top and bottom and just trimmed off one row to make it a single on the bottom. The dragonfly that came with this kit is metal and fairly heavy. It is something I normally wouldn't use, but I couldn't decide what I was saving it for, so I added it and really like it. - Denise
Both cards are clever interpretations of the sketch! Beautiful work, as always.
