Technique Thursday #26-2016

The technique used for this challenge is called word clustering. It is a great technique for using several of your stamps on one card.

Here is Tantalaya's card for this technique:

I gathered the stamp sets from my stash including the friends stamp set from the very 1st Stamp of Approval box. After using the MISTI and getting these stamps aligned, I embossed using Versafine black onyx ink and then I took paper from the echo park 6x6 pad and attached it to the left edge of the card making sure that it would measure to the correct amount. but even before that I used my mini distress inks and colored the entire card making the background pop. I finished off the card with the bakers twine.

Now for Gracie's interpretation -

Word Clusters are fun but a MISTI sure comes in handy!   I used whisper white cs, versa mark ink, and white embossing powder. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks peeled paint,  salty ocean, peacock feathers, mustard seed, fired brick, Seedless Preserves and picked raspberry. Gave the whole thing a spray of water and mounted it on black cs then a shimmer white card base.I went back and added the purple bakers twine because it looked like it needed something! ~ Gracie

I just love how the words are the design element so go out and put your own together to give a your card a special touch. - Denise
