We have this card sketch for today:
Here is Gracie's card -
I started with a white
cs base. The die cut on the bottom is a David Tutera. The half
circle is shimmer apple cs. The stamp is Deep Red "Lillie Pen &
Ink". I water colored the stamped image then mounted it on black cs.
I forgot about my sentiment so I popped the whole card in my MISTI
(I knew I would mess it up without it). I added the black enamel
dots and she is done! ~ Gracie
Now for Tantalaya -
I used Dovecraft's Midnight Blush
paper pack and a scalloped border die. I decided for the banner or flagged
pieces I wanted to use vellum and I love the subtle look that it gives. only
used 3 sequins on this one and used the same stamp set from Stamp of
Approval Casuals Friday's All about you stamp set for the sentiments.
You may have noticed that the sketch is the same as last week, but once again we have totally different cards from the same sketch and that is the fun of starting with them, so try your own take on it. - Denise

ReplyDeleteI haven't visited in a while, so I thought I would remedy that situation. First, I really like this sketch. Ladies, I really love your interpretation of the sketch. Both unique, both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGracie, love the way you made the sketch so different, but followed it at the same time. Tantalaya I love the velum flags.
