Here is Sue's card:
I chose the black tag.
I started with some printed paper – looks like a dictionary page with a fancy
border. I added color using Clearly Besotted’s Flower Arrangement and Hero Arts
Tide Pool, Pale Tomato, Butter Bar, Soft Granite). The sentiment is from Paper
Smooches’ Chit Chat stamp set. I added some jute twine for a “natural” look. I
popped the tag up with some fun foam for added dimension on a natural card
base. ~ Sue
The black tag really stands out, Sue! Beautiful cards this week!!!
Here is my card:
I chose the off-white napkin with the pretty red flowers. After peeling the layers apart, I adhered the napkin to a red panel of card stock using Stick-It to make the red more prominent. I tied a black ribbon to the panel with a simple knot. The sentiments are from a Catherine Pooler stamp set. I used tuxedo black Memento Luxe ink. When I heat set it the red peeked through around the sentiment on the napkin making a halo effect! Love it! I added some black enamel heat set dots for accents and used a black card stock base.
We have had a lot of fun bringing you our takes on different items this week. We hope you feel encouraged to just go pick up one item and look at it in a completely different way and create something beautiful! Happy card-making!!! ~ Gracie
Great way to end the week. Gracie I love the way the red came out around the sentiment. What a happy accident.
