Mistletoe Monday

April theme is spring florals. 

Color scheme is pastels. 

Technique: watercoloring (use inks, paints or other markers)

Today's card features Tim Holtz's Scribble Woodland Stamp set.  I created the card on watercolor paper with Distress Markers and the Misit Stamp Tool.  I colored each image separately with the markers (Ie:  trees/green, etc.), lightly spritz with water to achieve a watercolor effect, then stamp onto the watercolor paper. The Misti tool is helpful because the images need to be stamped more than once. I continued with each part of the image until completed.  To create the sky and ground, I scribbled the markers on a pallate and painted as a wash. I stamped the sentiment using the brown marker.  I inked the edges of the panel to create dimension.  ~ Kimberly.
