Today's Prompt:  Freestyle Friday (anything goes)

Color Scheme is green, gold or silver, black

Technique:  Foiling

Today's card offers another option to incorporate foil into our card making.  The background is a gel print I created using alcohol inks.  I applied alcohol inks, blue and yellow, onto the gel plate straight from the bottles.  Next, I used a brayer to spread the inks which created a green while retaining the original two colors.   I used a background stamp (Tim Holtz Papillon) to create interest, then let it alone to dry.  I applied a thin layer of white acrylic paint with a brayer and picked up the print with a piece of mixed media cardstock.  I stamped the butterfly image (Tim Holtz Papillon) with black Staz On Ink.  I applied Cosmic Shimmer Flake and Glitter Glue to the bodies of the butterfly images and let dry (the glue dries tacky)  I then applied gold foil and it created the result you see in the photos.  The sentiment is from Tim Holtz metallic quotations. The card is size A2.  ~ Kimberly
