Color is the challenge today
This combination is used in this wonderful card by Robbie.
I
thought the colors today would make a great Fall card. All supplies are from Stampin’ Up. I began with a card base of Whisper
White. I took a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock that measured 4” x
5 ¼” and using the Woodgrain embossing
folder I ran it through my Big Shot to emboss it. I used some Gold Thread to wrap around the
top and tie into a bow. I attached the panel to my card base using
Tear-n-Tape. Then using the Thoughtful
Branches stamp set and matching framelits I used So Saffron, Tangerine Tango,
and Peekaboo Peach to sponge color onto the treetop stamp. After I stamped it I used the matching
framelit to cut it out. I then used the
tree framelit to cut out the tree shape from Delightful Dijon. I mounted the tree onto the card base using
Stampin’ Dimensionals. I attached the
treetop to the tree using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid glue. My sentiment from the same set is stamped in
Tangerine Tango onto a 1 “ strip of Whisper White. I flagged the end using the Banner Triple
punch. I attached this with Stampin’
dimensionals also. These colors made a
colorful Fall card - Robbie
Look at the fun swirls in Kimberly's card -
New England Fall is my favorite
season of the year. The fall landscape
here is painted with red and orange leaves.
I went with those colors for my card today. The colorful paper is from a Ken Oliver paper
pack. Catherine Pooler's Concentric Die
Set takes center stage. I used both dies
in the set. The sentiment is part of the same SOA Collection. The pieces are layered and adhered to an A2
card base. Add embellishments and call
it done. - Kimberly
What fun colors for fall.- Denise
