Clean and Simple Sunday #18-2016

Today's Clean & Simple Challenge
is to include an umbrella in your card, the theme is up to you.

Let's see what the DT members came up with.

I've been eager for summer to arrive even though we've had relatively mild winter, so for my umbrella card, I opted for a beach umbrella.  I used a cut file from the Silhouette Store and, with a few changes to put my signature on it, this is my final product.

I cut the pieces for the front of the card from Stampin' Up's Watermelon Wonder,  card stock.  Then I grouped the same items, created a mirror image and converted it to a print only file for the inside of the card.  I created the greeting and sentiment using Benguiat Frisky ATT font, color matched to Watermelon Wonder.   ~Kim from Katydid Cards

This card is one I created for a blog hop last year, but it fits today's theme.
It's a free coloring page that I found on the internet and shrunk in a photo editing program to card front size. I simply printed it on heavy weight white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. ~Theresa

  1. I love that a free coloring page can be turned into a lovely card....great idea for those who are just starting out in stamping or don't want to spend lots of extra money on stamps!
