This month's
(that's right we are going to do the same challenge for
MM all month long, as we want to feature all the DT members with this one.)
Mistletoe Monday Challenge
is to create a holiday card featuring NON-traditional colors.
So no, red and green or blue and white.
It's the last week of May so that means this is the last day of this challenge,
let's see what the last two DT members came up with.

It was really hard to think of doing a Christmas card without the normal colors (red, green, blue or white)… Until I remembered I had this really cool Sizzix basketweave star die that I hadn’t used before. I cut it out with double sided copper paper (since I think it still looks elegant) and then used glue dots to hold it together… And then used gems to dress it up. I added a ribbon on top - that way the recipient could put the ornament on their tree if they wanted to! ~Jennifer
What a cool card and gift in one! Way to go Jennifer, thinking outside the box.
What do all these supplies have to do with a holiday card?
They turn into this...
I used a rainbow of sorts of Stampin' Up inks and stamp &
Neat & Tangled die from from the holiday SOA collection
to create my non-traditional colored holiday card.
The mat and diecut are from a piece of Ranger Distress Paper.
* Hint * save $ and paper by diecutting from the center of your mat piece
no one will know it's not a solid piece and you save $ by saving paper. ~Theresa
Happy Crafting

Jennifer, I really like that star and cool that you made it so it could be reused. Theresa, nice colorful card and thanks for the reminder to cut from the mat for die cuts to save paper.
