Today's Inspiration Saturday Tic Tac Toe Challenge:
Did this week's DT members follow the rest of the designers and
choose the last column as their inspiration?
Let's find out.
This was a hard challenge - but I decided to do red & blue, element repeated in threes & birthday…
so I used a cute birthday sticker, and 3 blue candle stickers. ~Jennifer
Well Jennifer strayed from the group and picked the bottom row.
What did Theresa do?
Yep, I stuck to the same column as most of the DT.
This was a really hard Tic Tac Toe board to work with for me.
I started with the ribbon, since I rarely, as in almost never, use ribbon on my cards,
I have some, but not a huge stash of it. This was the only yellow ribbon I had in my stash that
didn't have words on it. For the first card I used Ranger Distress Inks in Hickory Smoke and Pumice Stone for the stenciled area and Versa Mark and some really old Martha Stewart yellow embossing powder. I used my MISTI and stamped and embossed several times.
Since there was a tiny bit of ribbon left, I made a second very simple card using
the ribbon and Brutus Monroe Platinum embossing powder. ~Theresa

Nice cards. The gray and yellow work well together even if it isn't a combination I would normally think of. Jennifer, way to break out of the mold. lol.
ReplyDeleteJennifer...the non-conformist, LOL Love what you did with your card. Theresa, beautiful cards.
