Scene it Saturday 33-2018

Hi! It's Sue with my last card for the week as designer here at Card A Day Challenge.

The theme for August is school related (teacher, back to school, encouragement for a child) and the color scheme is yellow, black and white.  For Scene it Saturday, the theme is to create a scene card.

Here's my card

I pulled out my Lovely as a Tree stamp set, a Stampin’ Up stamp set and stamped and re-stamped the trees without re-inking (two generation stamping). For the sky, I punched a 1” circle from a post-it note, close to the sticky edge. I used this circle as a mask for the background, where I added distress inks (squeezed lemonade, mustard seed and black soot), added with ink daubers. The sentiment is from L’il Inker’s Sunshine Sentiments stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Thank you for visiting. I'll see you again next month.
