The theme for December is winter holidays
(Christmas, Chanukah, New Years). For
Technique Tuesday, the challenge is to use a technique of my choosing.
Here's my card
I
selected heat embossing on vellum – here’s a video which explains the process https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6r6TwZnUgg. I used Simon Says STAMP’s
Poinsettia stamp set, which I heat embossed with white embossing powder and
then fussy cut. The sentiment is from The Ton’s Holiday Flourish stamp set,
stamped onto a scrap strip of natural cardstock with Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe ink.
The patterned strip is Basic Grey’s Figgy Pudding patterned paper. I used a
kraft background to give the card a vintage feel. To complete the card, I added
some faux pearls in the center of the flower.
Thanks for stopping by

I love that velum Poinsettia and adding the pearls in the middle is wonderful.
