Sketch It Wednesday 7-2019

We have this sketch as our challenge today.

Here are two cards from the sketch.

I like working with sketches and this one gave me a quick way to get two cards.  I cut one patterned piece and one solid piece the size of the card base. Both of the papers came from an 8 x 8 pack by DCWV called All Occasion.  I stacked the pattern and solid together and secured them with a couple of pieces of purple crafting tape so that they wouldn't shift.  I placed a curved edge die across this sandwich and secured it with another piece of purple tape.  On a side note, I just bought this tape and do love it.  It doesn't tear the paper like other tapes can.  I ran it through the Cuttlebug. This gave me pieces that would fit together on two different cards.  I glued them on a white card base and then stamped the sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly - Inspirational Birthdays and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I decided to leave them as is without any embellishments. - Denise
