The theme for February is love and the color scheme is
red, pink and white and for Mistletoe Monday, the card needs to be a
Christmas/holiday card.
Here's my card
I chose to make a Valentine’s Day card. To create the
background, I added color to a white card panel with distress inks (ripe
persimmon, picked raspberry, spun sugar) and added Perfect Pearls with a dry
brush before the ink dried. I ran the panel with a WeR Memory Keepers geometric
embossing folder through my Big Shot. The sentiment is from Avery Elle Love
Notes stamp set and was cut into a banner. The heart was die cut using Memory
Box Cherub Hearts die from a scrap piece of watercolour paper where pink and
red Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers were scribbled and using a water brush the
colours blended. A paper doily was folded to add some texture and dimension. A
few rhinestones were added to the banner for some sparkle. Here's a close-up
Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow.
