WOW Wednesday - #37-2017

Well, it's halfway through the week and we're highlighting Jennifer McGuire's distress resist technique. Today is WOW Wednesday which means stepping the card up with the use of sequins, glitter pens, Nuvo drops etc. Here's my card.

For the background, I used Hero Arts Looped Circle background stamp and Versamark ink.  I added colour using distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry). As I used regular 100 lb cardstock, I had to add a lot of ink, to reveal the resist. I made a bright yellow tag, using Stampin’ Up’s Ornate Tag Topper punch. The sentiment is from Simon Says STAMP Flower Friend stamp set. To step up the card, I added a thin glitter strip on the tag, shiny ribbon on the tag and used a Sakura silver glitter pen to colour in the intersection circles.
