One Stamp Set Saturday - #37-2017

This is my last card for the week highlighting the distress resist technique. It’s One Stamp Saturday. So this was a bit of a challenge for me. I’ve used background stamps all week and wasn’t sure how to add a sentiment. Here’s what I came up with. 

I started with Simon Says STAMP’s Star Flower Background stamp and 100 lb cardstock. I added color with distress inks (twisted citron and peacock feathers) using ink blending tools and blending the colors a bit with a waterbrush. To add a sentiment, there’s a die cut using Simon Says STAMP’s Thanks die. I added Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle. To complete the card, I added three sequins for more sparkle.
