Technique Thursday #24-2017

Today's technique calls for making a spinner card. How to's can be found here and here.

What a fun card Gracie made for today.

I really like spinner cards.  The grandchildren enjoy opening them!  Today I used Art Impressions "Fairy Spinner" stamp.  I like them because they come with the stamp for the back so you don't have to worry about making a mirror image.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and used quite a bit of adhesive on the inside and attached a string from the top of her head to her toe so she would spin.  The thread is attached to a white cardstock base with an oval cut to size to allow her to spin.  The base and thread were then covered with gingham pink Darice cardstock to hold the thread in place.  The sentiment is from the stamp set.  I added some glitter dots for accent.  The image and sentiment are stamped with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink and embossed with Whispers clear embossing powder. ~ Gracie
