Today's Color Challenge:
When I saw the inspiration piece and the daisies, I immediately thought of homespun goodness, so that was my cue. For my focal image, I selected this quaint image from Stampin' Up's Country Morning set. I stamped it on water color paper and colored it with Copics. I wanted to surround it with eyelet somehow, so I found an Inverted Eyelet Circle in the Silhouette Design Store and sized it to complement the image. Using the Print & Cut feature in my Silhouette, I printed a blue and yellow pattern from the Blue Skies Smiling digital collection from Sweet Shoppe Designs and cut it. When I placed it over the image, there was just too much white in the eyelet, I created a yellow panel to go below which only covered a portion of the openings and a blue piece to go behind the eyelet...I tend to get obsessed with an idea and just won't let go of it. I created the bottom eyelet piece by welding two ribbon slides together. The greeting was printed on Summer Sun using the DK Vermilion. The sentiment was created with the same font and layered on a yellow panel. The patterned paper is 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", the yellow (Summer Sun) is 4" x 5 1/2" and the base is Pacific Point.

The yellow and blue behind the eyelet really make it pop. Nice job.
