Saturday Surprise Challenge #5-2016

Today's challenge is to create a card featuring
a FROG!

The Frog card was made on white cardstock with Basic Black SU! Ink.  I fussy cut it out and colored the crown jewels with SU! Real Red marker.  The bowtie is from red and white baker's twine.  I mounted the sentiment on a taffeta red ribbon to have a contrast from a mostly white card.  The frog is on foam dots risers to add dimension.  I think it's a great valentine! ~Kathy

Kathy's card just cracks me up.

I needed a card for my niece who just found out she is having boy #4 (Lord bless her!) and this little fellow is perfect!  The boy with the frog is a Silhouette file.   I mounted it on some old CM patterned paper and typed out my sentiment mounting it in the reverse side of the paper.
I gave the frog bug eyes with half pearls. ~Gracie

What frog filled card will you make today?

  1. Kathy, you card really cracks me up too. The frog looks so hopeful. Gracie, that is a great card too. We have two nephews who both have 4 boys and I am amazed all the time. One of those nephews and his wife are now expecting baby number 5 and it is a girl. What a difference that will be.
