Today's challenge is to create a Magic Window Card and Denise incorporated a bug just for this hop.

Here is a video tutorial from Deb Valder.  Please consider liking and subscribing to her channel.

Denise liked the challenge so much she made two cards for you today.

I have wanted to do these cards for a long time, so I was excited when that became my challenge.  In fact I was so excited, I did two different cards. The first one is a Father's Day card for my kids to give to their Grandfather. I was able to just "eyeball" the alignment using the grid on my acrylic stamping block and it came out great.  The second one is for a group I belong to where we send things to a "secret sister".  At the end, we reveal ourselves which I am doing with this card. I had a much harder time getting this one aligned and finally looked to see if there was something else I could use since I didn't have a Stamp-a-ma-jig and none of the stores in town sold one.  I found someone on YouTube who used Lego blocks. It was pure genius and worked great.  I will be making more of these because I just love how they work and were really pretty quick to make.  ~ Denise

Here's the video on making your own stamp positioner out of building blocks. :)

Your last stop is Tristan's FB page.

Thanks for hopping along with us today.  Don't forget to comment to be entered into the prize drawing.

Happy Crafting

  4. I love these magic card...so unexpected. As much as I loved the tree, I'm really taken with the first one as it's such a clever new twist on the old "secret admirer" cards when I was young...in the dark ages.
