Shine and Sparkle Sunday #27-2017

For July, our designers will be using embossing, either heat or dry, on all their cards.  Kimberly starts us off with a pop of shine. 

The overall challenge for the month is embossing of any type.  I have several embossing folders in my stash. I wanted to see how the embossing folders would work on specialty paper.  I kept my cards pretty simple this month in order to keep the dry embossing and paper the star.  The background is a 3D Texture Embossing Folder by Sizzix.  The texture it creates is amazing.  The “shine” is silver mirror cardstock die cut with a Penny Black butterfly die.  The sentiment is by Catherine Pooler Designs. - Kimberly
