Sparkle and Shine is what Kimberly has for us today.
I used Dina
Wakley Media paint, gelli plate, stencils and Dina Wakley Media Scribbly Bird
Stamp to create this fun mixed media card.
The Wildflowers in the background are from a Tim Holtz stamp set and is
the new item. The random “shine” on the outside
of the card is gold foil. I used a glue
stick to adhere the foil. - Kimberly
My sparkle and shine card.
This is the front of a card made for my Granddaughter's birthday. I had the background in my stash from playing around with alcohol inks one day. I decided it looked sort of like a night sky and would make a good background for this fairy image. I stamped the image from Unity Stamp Company (a KOM set called What Lies Within Us) on velum using Versamark and then heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. I have purchased a lot of Unity stamps this year and this is one. I had been seeing people using Perfect Pearls to watercolor with and this was going to be perfect to try it. I put just a small amount of the four colors of Perfect Pearls on my craft mag and added water to them with a spray bottle. They were pretty easy to use and give it a gorgeous shine. I will be using this method again. - Denise
They are both stunning! I'm going to play with my Perfect Pearls :)
