Time for our Masculine cards -
Kimberly made this cute stamp the star of her card.
Ink onto Xpress Blending Paper
and colored with copic markers. The
sentiment is a chit chat sticker from Tim’s Small Talk set. The background paper is from the pad. I chose orange as it is a complimentary color
to blue. I used Stampendous dies to cut
both the image and background paper.
I have started on my Valentine's cards including this one to my son.
I used two papers from the stack by DCWV called Coral & Navy, pictured below. I stamped the truck and sentiment (from Unity Stamp Company, called A Guy and His Truck) onto watercolor paper and then used Distress Inks applied with a wet brush to color the truck and hearts. I tore around the edges and popped it up on foam tape. After I attached the panel to the card base, I went to trim it because the card was a tiny bit larger than the panel, but I lined it up on the wrong mark and cut off too much. I had to trim the other side to center the truck again, so it turned out to be a square card instead of A2 size. He will never know about my boo-boo. lol. - Denise
This is the stack I am using all week. If you look at the price, you will see I picked it up at an Ollie's store (they sell overstocks) for $2.99. I wondered in one day and they had all these wonderful DCWV stacks for $2.99 each! Of course I had to buy 10 different sets. This one has a total of 48 pages including glitter ones. I love it when I can get a bargain.
Love both these cards! I have a pick up truck...can't wait to load it with hearts based on your inspiration.
