Today our card sketch makes use of strips of paper-
Kimberly's card makes good use of the pattern in one of her papers.
Today’s card features paper with
a super cute design. I cut the paper
into strips and adhered them to an A2 size card base. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the
card because it fit my design better in this location. The sentiment is Penny Black. - Kimberly
I used different papers for my strips -
I used four different papers from my paper pack and cut a two inch peice from each of them. I then cut narrow strips from those pieces and alternated those in a random up and down pattern. I stamped my sentiment on the bottom because there ended up being more room there. I stamped it with dye ink and tried to emboss it, but the ink dried too fast to hold the clear powder. Next time, I will use Versamark on the stamp first along with the dye ink to accept the embossing powder better. The stamp came from Club Scrap and is called Moroccan Spice Greetings. - Denise
I really like this sketch for some reason! And love what you both did with it. This would be a great use for Washi tape, too. I have a lot of that.
