Our next Stencil Extravaganza Challenge:

Masking/Partial Stenciling

Let's see what the designers came up with.

I created a circle mask to cover the card front. Using a striped stencil from Michaels, I added ink with ink blending tools and distress inks (spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon and picked raspberry). I cut the sentiment with Simon Says STAMP thanks die and covered the die cut with Wink of Stella for some sparkle. To complete the card, I added three sequins. ~Sue

  

Using the Tim Holtz Flourish stencil, I stenciled with Shaded Lilac and Chipped Sapphire distress inks, overlapping the two in the upper right and lower left of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The Distress Inks blend so well, they are perfect for this technique.  In the opening, I stamped a flower using the Butterfly Basics set from Stampin' Up and colored it with various SU markers.  I used the Curvy Corners Trio Punch on the upper left and matted it on a color coordinatedcard stock on which I used the Corner Chomper.  I created the greeting using SU's My Digital Studio and cut it in my Silhouette with to complement the corner punch and double matted it, rounding the corners of both mats.  I added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to give a bit of bling.  The sentiment is also from My Digital Studio.  ~Kim from Katydid Cards
