Technique Tuesday 44-2019

It's Tuesday and time to learn a new technique!  This month we are making trapped emboss resist backgrounds.  Here is the link:

And here is my card:

I started with a white card stock panel and Distress inks in Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Fired Brick, and Fossilized Amber.  I applied the inks liberally to the card stock and set it aside to dry.  After drying I placed it in my MISTI and placed some happy Fall stamps from Whimsey on the card stock and stamped using clear Versamark ink and heat set with clear embossing powder.  I lightly spritzed the card stock with water and blotted with a paper towel.  I omitted the white ink.  I stamped the "be thankful" sentiment from Tim Holtz in Fired Brick and embossed with clear embossing powder on a strip of burnt orange card stock.  I added it to the panel using foam tape.  I placed the panel on a second panel of orange and used the same burnt orange for a card base.  ~  Gracie

  1. Cute images and I admit that I haven't tried it yet as I am behind on getting my cards for next week. I hope they turn out as cute as yours.
