Color Me Friday 45-2019

The colors for this month are navy blue, burnt orange, burgandy and peach.

I choose a 6 x 6 paper pad with most of the colors in it.  The pad came from Tuesday Morning but doesn't seem to have a company name on it.  Gina Marie Designs has these wonderful quilt dies.  This one is called Arrows and Squares.  I used a total of six sheets of patterns and solids. I put 5 inch scrappy tape on the back of each paper before sending it through the die machine. That way each piece becomes a little sticker and it is super easy to put it on the card base.  These two cards keep wiht the thankfulness theme this month.  Both sentiments are from a set called Material Girl. One stamped in navy and one in the peach color.  When you use six sheets of paper you end up with six total cards.  Below are the other four using different sentiments from the same Material Girl and one from Unity called Sadie Girl.

I actually used one of these as a sympathy card for a friend who just lost her mother at age 94.  In her lifetime she had done dozens and dozens of quilts, so the quilt card with the mother sentiment seemed appropriate. - Denise
