Technique Tuesday 25-2018

Hi! Sue back with a new card here at Card a Day Challenge.

The theme for June is “all about kids” and the color scheme is bright red, blue, green and yellow. For Technique Tuesday, the challenge is to use this month’s technique which is elevating diecuts – using glitter, ink, stamps, patterned paper.  

Here's my card

I started with CTMH’s Pinwheel stamp set. I stamped the pinwheels and sticks with Hero Arts Butter Bar, Green Hills, Indigo and Strawberry inks. I fussy cut the images. I stamped the sentiment onto the card base. To “elevate” the diecuts, I added Nuvo drops to the centers of the pinwheels and used a glitter silver pen to outline the pinwheels. When completing the card, I popped the pinwheels up with dimensionals.
