Scene it Saturday 25-2018

Well, it's my last day for June here at Card A Day Challenge. I hope that I've inspired you to create something.

The theme for June is “all about kids” and the color scheme is bright red, blue, green and yellow. For Scene it Saturday, the theme is to create a scene card.

Here's my card

I started with Stampin’ Up’s I Dig You stamp set. I stamped the dump truck and the gifts, using the MISTI. The MISTI definitely helps to line things up and to ensure good impressions (with multiple stampings). I used Hero Arts inks (strawberry, indigo, butter bar, green hills). I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Hero Arts charcoal ink. To make the “scene”, I dusted off my Creative Memories 12” decorative trimmer and cut a paper mask, to mimic a hill. I used this mask, to add distress ink – brushed corduroy to make the hill.

Thanks for stopping by. See you next month.
