The card sketch we are using today is very versatile and could be used in a lot of different ways.
This is my use of the sketch.
I used the same stamp as yesterday (from a Unity Stamp Company set called Time to Enjoy Life), but in a totally different way. I stamped the image in black Versafine ink and used clear embossing powder to heat emboss it. I then used water and Perfect Pearls to paint the image. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss a patterned paper from My Mind's Eye called Indie Chic- Ginger and then cut it into three pieces. I rounded the edges of these and really liked how the subtle patter looked after it was embossed. I usually only use embossing folders on plain cardstock, but using a pattered paper really gave it a new dimension. It was all mounted on a black card base. The birthday sentiment was also heat embossed and came from Gina K (Framescapes). - Denise.
Love your coloring on this...and you picked perfect background colors to showcase your image.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim. I actually tried three different combinations of background before I found one that looked right.
